The Intel Core i3-7100H is a mobile (laptop) processor with 2 cores, released in 2017. It is part of the Core i3 lineup, using the 7th Gen platform, and uses the FCBGA1440 package, which is soldered to the laptop's motherboard rather than socketed. Internally, it is built on the "Kaby Lake-H" architecture. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading, each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 4 threads for improved parallelism. It operates at a fixed 3 GHz. Intel manufactures the "Kaby Lake-H" silicon on a 14 nm process node. With a base TDP of 35W the Core i3-7100H is a higher power envelope aimed at performance, gaming and workstation laptops. Integrated graphics are provided by the HD Graphics 630 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy includes 3MB of L3 cache.
