Xeon Gold 6433N

Intel · Xeon Gold · 2023 · LGA4677

Overview

The Intel Xeon Gold 6433N is a server processor with 32 cores, released in 2023. It is part of the Xeon Gold lineup, using the Xeon Scalable platform, and fits the LGA4677 socket. Internally, it is built on the "Sapphire Rapids" architecture. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading, each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 64 threads for improved parallelism. The Xeon Gold 6433N has a base clock of 2 GHz and can boost up to 3.6 GHz depending on workload and thermal headroom. Intel manufactures the "Sapphire Rapids" silicon on a Intel 7 process node. This processor supports DDR5 memory across 8 channels, up to 4TB total, with ECC support standard for data integrity in server workloads. It supports both single-socket (1P) and dual-socket (2P) configurations, with 80 lanes of PCIe 5.0 available for storage, networking and accelerators. With a TDP of 205W, the Xeon Gold 6433N runs hot and requires a capable cooling setup. The cache hierarchy consists of no dedicated of L1, no dedicated of L2, and 60MB of L3 cache.

Carries Intel's 'N' suffix, denoting a network-optimized configuration tuned for NFV (network function virtualization) and telecom workloads over general-purpose compute.
