Overview

The AMD Phenom X3 8750 is a desktop processor with 3 cores, released in 2008 at an MSRP of $129. It is part of the Phenom lineup, using the Phenom X3 platform, and fits the AM2+ socket. Internally, it is built on the "K10" architecture. It operates at a fixed 2.4 GHz. AMD manufactures the "K10" silicon on a 65nm process node. Its multiplier is locked, so any overclocking has to come from raising the base clock rather than the multiplier. This processor supports DDR2 memory. With a TDP of 95W, the Phenom X3 8750 sits in a typical power envelope for a modern desktop CPU. This processor has no integrated graphics — a discrete GPU is required. The cache hierarchy consists of 64KB/core of L1, 1.5MB of L2, and 2MB of L3 cache.

Toliman die — triple-core by disabling one core of the quad-core Agena die. Budget option when quad-cores were still expensive.
