Pentium G4400

Intel · Pentium G · 2015 · LGA1151

Overview

The Intel Pentium G4400 is a desktop processor with 2 cores, released in 2015 at an MSRP of $64. It is part of the Pentium G lineup, using the Pentium G platform, and fits the LGA1151 socket. Internally, it is built on the "Skylake" architecture. It operates at a fixed 3.3 GHz. Intel manufactures the "Skylake" silicon on a 14nm process node. Its multiplier is locked, so any overclocking has to come from raising the base clock rather than the multiplier. This processor supports DDR4 memory. With a TDP of 51W, the Pentium G4400 is an efficient chip suitable for modest cooling solutions. Integrated graphics are provided by the Intel HD Graphics 510 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy consists of 32KB/core of L1, 256KB/core of L2, and 3MB of L3 cache.

Entry Skylake Pentium. Still 2C/2T — Hyper-Threading not yet available on Pentium at this generation.
