Core i7-7567U

Intel · Core i7 · 2017 · FCBGA1356

Overview

The Intel Core i7-7567U is a mobile (laptop) processor with 2 cores, released in 2017. It is part of the Core i7 lineup, using the 7th Gen platform, and uses the FCBGA1356 package, which is soldered to the laptop's motherboard rather than socketed. Internally, it is built on the "Kaby Lake-U" architecture. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading, each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 4 threads for improved parallelism. The Core i7-7567U has a base clock of 3.5 GHz and can boost up to 4 GHz depending on workload and thermal headroom. Intel manufactures the "Kaby Lake-U" silicon on a 14 nm process node. This processor supports DDR3L/LPDDR3/DDR4 memory. With a base TDP of 28W the Core i7-7567U is a balanced power envelope suited to mainstream laptops. Integrated graphics are provided by the Iris Plus Graphics 650 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy includes 4MB of L3 cache.

Configurable TDP down to 23 W.
