Core i5-5675C

Intel · Core i5 · 2015 · LGA1150

Overview

The Intel Core i5-5675C is a desktop processor with 4 cores, released in 2015 at an MSRP of $276. It is part of the Core i5 lineup, using the 5th Gen platform, and fits the LGA1150 socket. Internally, it is built on the "Broadwell" architecture. The Core i5-5675C has a base clock of 3.1 GHz and can boost up to 3.6 GHz depending on workload and thermal headroom. Intel manufactures the "Broadwell" silicon on a 14nm process node. Its multiplier is locked, so any overclocking has to come from raising the base clock rather than the multiplier. This processor supports DDR3 memory. With a TDP of 65W, the Core i5-5675C is an efficient chip suitable for modest cooling solutions. Integrated graphics are provided by the Iris Pro 6200 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy consists of 32KB/core of L1, 1MB of L2, and 4MB of L3 cache.

One of the only mainstream desktop Broadwell CPUs. Iris Pro 6200 iGPU with 128MB eDRAM. No Hyper-Threading.
