Intel · Core i5 · 2022 · LGA1700
The Intel Core i5-12600T is a desktop processor with 6 cores, released in 2022. It is part of the Core i5 lineup, using the 12th Gen platform, and fits the LGA1700 socket. Internally, it is built on the "Alder Lake" architecture. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading, each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 12 threads for improved parallelism. The Core i5-12600T has a base clock of 2.1 GHz and can boost up to 4.6 GHz depending on workload and thermal headroom. Intel manufactures the "Alder Lake" silicon on a Intel 7 process node. Its multiplier is locked, so any overclocking has to come from raising the base clock rather than the multiplier. This processor supports DDR4/DDR5 memory. With a TDP of 35W, the Core i5-12600T is an efficient chip suitable for modest cooling solutions. Integrated graphics are provided by the UHD 770 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy consists of 80KB/core of L1, 7.5MB of L2, and 18MB of L3 cache.
35W low-power T-series variant.
