The AMD Athlon PRO 200GE is a desktop processor with 2 cores, released in 2018. It is part of the Athlon lineup, using the Athlon 200G platform, and fits the AM4 socket. Internally, it is built on the "Zen" architecture. Thanks to AMD Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT), each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 4 threads for improved parallelism. It operates at a fixed 3.2 GHz. AMD manufactures the "Zen" silicon on a 14nm process node. Its multiplier is locked, so any overclocking has to come from raising the base clock rather than the multiplier. This processor supports DDR4 memory. With a TDP of 35W, the Athlon PRO 200GE is an efficient chip suitable for modest cooling solutions. Integrated graphics are provided by the Radeon Vega 3 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy consists of 96KB/core of L1, 1MB of L2, and 4MB of L3 cache.
PRO commercial 35W variant. OEM / commercial channel; locked multiplier. Low-power E-series variant.
