Overview

The AMD Athlon 320GE is a desktop processor with 2 cores, released in 2019. It is part of the Athlon lineup, using the Athlon 300G platform, and fits the AM4 socket. Internally, it is built on the "Zen" architecture. Thanks to AMD Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT), each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 4 threads for improved parallelism. It operates at a fixed 3.5 GHz. AMD manufactures the "Zen" silicon on a 14nm process node. This processor supports DDR4 memory. With a TDP of 35W, the Athlon 320GE is an efficient chip suitable for modest cooling solutions. Integrated graphics are provided by the Radeon Vega 3 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy consists of 96KB/core of L1, 1MB of L2, and 4MB of L3 cache.

Low-power E-series variant.
