Opteron 2350

AMD · Opteron · 2007 · Socket F

Overview

The AMD Opteron 2350 is a server processor with 4 cores, released in 2007 at an MSRP of $389. It is part of the Opteron lineup, using the Opteron 2300 platform, and fits the Socket F socket. Internally, it is built on the "K10" architecture. It operates at a fixed 2 GHz. AMD manufactures the "K10" silicon on a 65nm process node. This processor supports DDR2 memory across 2 channels, with ECC support standard for data integrity in server workloads. It supports both single-socket (1P) and dual-socket (2P) configurations. With a TDP of 95W, the Opteron 2350 sits in a typical power envelope for a modern desktop CPU. The cache hierarchy consists of 128KB/core of L1, 512KB/core of L2, and 2MB of L3 cache.

4-core K10 Opteron (Barcelona) at 2GHz on Socket F, launched September 2007. Barcelona was AMD's first native quad-core processor, with all four cores sharing an L3 cache on one 65nm die. Early steppings carried the well-known TLB erratum, fixed in the B3 stepping. It supports up to two-socket systems.
