Core i5-4570T

Intel · Core i5 · 2013 · LGA1150

Overview

The Intel Core i5-4570T is a desktop processor with 2 cores, released in 2013. It is part of the Core i5 lineup, using the 4th Gen platform, and fits the LGA1150 socket. Internally, it is built on the "Haswell" architecture. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading, each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 4 threads for improved parallelism. The Core i5-4570T has a base clock of 2.9 GHz and can boost up to 3.6 GHz depending on workload and thermal headroom. Intel manufactures the "Haswell" silicon on a 22nm process node. Its multiplier is locked, so any overclocking has to come from raising the base clock rather than the multiplier. This processor supports DDR3 memory. With a TDP of 35W, the Core i5-4570T is an efficient chip suitable for modest cooling solutions. Integrated graphics are provided by the HD 4600 solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy consists of 32KB/core of L1, 512KB of L2, and 4MB of L3 cache.

35W low-power T-series variant.
