Overview

The Intel Core i5-11300H is a mobile (laptop) processor with 4 cores, released in 2021. It is part of the Core i5 lineup, using the 11th Gen platform, and uses the FCBGA1449; FCLGA1449 package, which is soldered to the laptop's motherboard rather than socketed. Internally, it is built on the "Tiger Lake-H35" architecture. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading, each core can handle two instruction streams simultaneously, yielding a total of 8 threads for improved parallelism. The Core i5-11300H has a base clock of 3.1 GHz and can boost up to 4.4 GHz depending on workload and thermal headroom. Intel manufactures the "Tiger Lake-H35" silicon on a 10 nm SuperFin process node. This processor supports DDR4/LPDDR4X memory. With a base TDP of 35W the Core i5-11300H is a higher power envelope aimed at performance, gaming and workstation laptops. Integrated graphics are provided by the Iris Xe Graphics solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy includes 8MB of L3 cache.
