Overview

The Intel Core 7 250H is a mobile (laptop) processor with 14 cores (6 Performance-cores and 8 Efficiency-cores), released in 2024. It is part of the Core 7 lineup, using the Core Series 2 platform, and uses the FCBGA1744 package, which is soldered to the laptop's motherboard rather than socketed. Internally, it is built on the "Raptor Lake-H Refresh" architecture. Only the 6 P-cores support Hyper-Threading, while the 8 E-cores handle a single thread each, together yielding 20 threads: the P-cores tackle latency-sensitive and lightly-threaded work, while the E-cores take on background and highly parallel tasks. The Core 7 250H has a base clock of 2.5 GHz and can boost up to 5.4 GHz depending on workload and thermal headroom. Intel manufactures the "Raptor Lake-H Refresh" silicon on a Intel 7 process node. This processor supports DDR4/DDR5/LPDDR4X/LPDDR5X memory. With a base TDP of 45W and a minimum assured power 35W, maximum turbo power 115W, which the laptop maker sets to suit its cooling design, the Core 7 250H is a higher power envelope aimed at performance, gaming and workstation laptops. Integrated graphics are provided by the Graphics solution, so a discrete GPU is not required for display output. The cache hierarchy includes 24MB of L3 cache.
